PARTNERSHIP WITH LEADING CHINESE DESIGN INSTITUTE

 Following several months of talks, the Netherlands-based group of specialized consultants, architects and engineers of ColdStoreDesign.com has reached a partnership agreement with the Chinese Internal Trade Engineering Design and Research Institute, a leading, government-certified design and architectural company. The agreement covers cooperation throughout the whole of China.
Together, the two forces combine the best of two worlds: the expertise of local Chinese and international specialists in design, engineering and construction management of cold stores, public and private refrigerated warehouses, distribution and transit centres, packing stations and meat processing plants. It will enable clients to benefit from the strengths of the traditional Chinese construction style and the typical local market circumstances and integrate all that into modern requirements like international standards, maximum efficiency, latest technology, and food safety guarantee. ColdStoreDesign.com will also offer support regarding management systems, training, education, and staffing.
In all countries, cooperation with government-certified institutions is necessary in order to anticipate and comply with local regulations and habits with regard to designing and engineering. In China, however, the approval and stamps of such a certified organization are essential to the success of the project. The Beijing-based Chinese Design Institute not just belongs to the limited group of companies in China that have Class-A certification, but with its market share of over 50% in cold stores is also the market leader in this field. One of the recent projects done by Beijing Design Institute is the Swire refrigerated warehouse in Guangdong.
Vice President of the Design Institute, Mr. Meng Qing Guo and Mr. Theo van Sambeeck, Managing Partner of ColdStoreDesign.com strongly believe that with the support of ColdStoreDesign Asian office, managed by Mr. Koenraad Van Simaey, a professional base has been created to supply a "one-stop-shopping" service solution to Chinese and international food-processing and temperature-controlled logistics companies in food and pharmaceutical products.
The first joint assignment will be a huge refrigerated warehouse and distribution centre in South-East China.
